The relatives have the same problem I do…extra zucchini, so some novel ideas on how to get rid of it.
I “found” a zuke the other day that was 18 inches long, 17 inches around and must weigh 7 pounds…
You could make zucchini pie, which is delicious…or you could use an M80, and blow the thing into zuke puddin…
there is always enough smaller zucchini for pie.

According to the Globe’s Maria Cramer,

Not much new info but also a great vid of Cramer tracking through Germany on her search for Clark, er Chip, er Christopher, er Sunny, I mean Ralph’s kin…

I have been unabashedly following this and going back and forht between the Boston Globe and Herald for coverage, but I know it’s gotten bad when I start looking at papers in California and Wisconsin. I thought people might enjoy this set of pictures and a poll to determine the biggest lie Rockefeller has told. From Boston.com…

Great article on emissions from scooters and some wariness around some scoot manufacturers.
Emissions aside, looking for a used scooter has made me realize that it will not be long before more states ( especially the great Commonwealth) decide to require motorcycle licenses and insurance on the 49cc class.
I can see this for a few reasons.
1. Lack of education. You can be a safe driver, but every chat board and every motorcycle rider I speak to recommends the motorcycle safety course. Yet, the 50 cc class does not require it, nor does it require you to insure your bike, and you do not even need a title to get a sticker.
2. As a result there are a lot of questionable sales, people selling scoots without titles, etc. Also the constant Craigslist promos for “you don’t need a license, you don’t need insurance, etc..” just promotes a careless transcation and potentially carelss use.
3. Motorcyclists hate the uninformed scooter driver. I can’t blame them- who wants to watch an idiot zig zag on a road, or bein the wrong spot while riding, or ride carelessly. it gives motorcyclists a bad name. What’s worse- the guy doing a wheelie at 80mph on 95 ( saw it myself this weekend) or the scoot driver going 20 on a hill and holding up traffic? Both have safety implications…
4. Revenue. The state won’t pass up the opportunity to generate new revenue for long and a whole class of vehicles could bring in some bucks…it won’t surprise me.

honestly, I know it’s juvenile humor but every time one of the American Pie movies comes on and Eugene Levy and Jason Biggs take the screen the awkward, comical moments are just something that I can’t stop watching.
I don’t have an explanation for it.

Overall…not a bad movie at all. I don’t know if it needed to be 2 1/2 hours long or if it’s the greatest movie ever made ( it isn’t). But it’s not bad and the jury is right..Heath Ledger is unbelievable in this movie, I was very surprised by the role.
It’s sad that he will gain more notoriety in his death and that the Oscar for a supporting role ( which I at the moment would endorse him for until I see a few more movies this fall) that he deserves might actually be looked at in light of his death as something even larger, his role alone was good enough.
